Tour Stop Number One: Main Entrance

A cement walkway leads left to the main entrance of the building. The words above the entrance read “Northeast Entrance.” To the right of the entrance is a sign that reads “Select Specialty Hospital.” The building is tan block with a crushed stone garden flanking both sides of the entrance. Trees and cacti are planted around the building and in the stone garden.

Tour Stop Number Two: Hallway Sign

This hallway has a white tiled floor with a multicolored tile accent. The walls are cream-colored with yellow accent pillars. A sign on the right side of the hallway reads “Select Specialty Hospital. A Division of Select Medical.” Another hallway leads away to the right halfway down the main hallway. The floor there is red tile.

Select Medical Nursing Station

Tour Stop Number Three: Nursing Station

The nursing station has brown wooden tile with a blue tile border and light green walls. At the convergence of two hallways is a rectangular counter. The far left and far right of the counter are waist high, the rest is chest high. Behind the counter are computer monitors, shelving units and an office printer. To the left of the printer is a rolling medical cart, two framed paintings and a closed door. To the right of the counter are six doorways and a rolling medical cart.

Select Medical Large Patient Room

Tour Stop Number Four: Large Patient Room

The large patient room has wooden tile flooring, one blue wall and one light green wall. In the center of the room is a patient bed with blue linens and white pillows. There is a tray table centered above the bed with towels and a hospital gown on top. To the left of the bed is a blue reclining chair. To the right of the bed is a wooden nightstand with a nurse call button on top. On the left wall is a light colored wooden wardrobe and two windows looking out on a garden. Above the bed is a fluorescent light and a patient monitor.

Tour Stop Number Five: Patient Room

The patient room has wooden tile flooring, one blue wall and one light green wall. In the center of the room is a patient bed white linens and pillows. There is a tray table centered above the bed with towels and a hospital gown on top. At the foot of the bed is a tan reclining chair. To the left of the bed is a wooden nightstand with a nurse call button on top. On the right wall is a light colored wooden wardrobe and two windows looking out on to a garden. Above the bed is a fluorescent light.

Tour Stop Number Six: Cafeteria - Seating Area

The cafeteria seating area has rich, brown rustic wooden flooring and white walls with lime green accents. Four-top and two-top tables and booths are spaced around the room. There is a wall clock and a flat-panel television hung on the right wall.

Tour Stop Number Seven: Cafeteria - Food Area

The food area has light blue tile flooring and blue walls. On the right and left side of the room are food service counters. On the far wall is a drink dispenser. On the far right wall there is a grill area with a list of ordering options. On the near left wall is a small cooler with drinks and yogurt displayed.

Select Medical Cafeteria Courtyard

Tour Stop Number Eight: Cafeteria Courtyard

The cafeteria courtyard has a wide, flagstone walkway. In the center of the space is a fenced-in water feature with stones and plants in the center of the water. Bushes, trees and rocks are spaced around the courtyard.

Select Medical Women of Honor Courtyard

Tour Stop Number Nine: Women of Honor Courtyard

The Women of Honor Courtyard has a tan concrete slab walkway around a crushed stone garden. The garden has different shrubs planted within it and a sculpture titled “Women of Honor” in the center. On the back wall of the courtyard are tables with umbrella shades.

Select Medical Chapel

Tour Stop Number Ten: Chapel

The chapel has green and blue carpeted tile flooring and tan walls. There is a wooden pulpit in the center of the room. Along the left, right and rear walls there are wooden chairs with tri-color cushions. The back wall is comprised of a stained glass window depicting trees native to the area.

Tour Stop Number Eleven: Giftshop

The giftshop has multi-colored carpeted flooring with a spiral/circular design. The walls are blue. In the center of the room is a rack of greeting cards. To the left of the greeting cards is a column of sandals. Above the greeting cards are helium balloons. On the rear right wall are two doors.

Select Medical Higher Grounds Coffee Shop

Tour Stop Number Twelve: Higher Grounds Coffee Shop

The coffee shop has tan tile flooring and yellow walls. On the right side of the room is a waist high counter with a cash register and candy display. On the right side of the room is a display of snacks. On the back wall of the room there is a waist high counter with wood paneling. There are food items on top of the counter. In front of the counter is a small statue of an M&M character holding a display of M&M candies.

Select Medical Catalina Parking Garage

Tour Stop Number Thirteen: Catalina Parking Garage

A cement walkway leads to a bridge over a culvert and then into the Catalina Garage. The outside of the garage is tan, poured cement. At the top of the façade are the words “Catalina Garage.” Trees and shrubs are planted along the walkway to the garage. To the right of the garage is a parking lot.
