Welcome to Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation – Dallas. A wide drop-off and pickup area in front of the main entrance is flanked by handicapped parking. The building entrance displays the address and is surrounded by shrubs and trees.

Tour Stop Number Two: Nurses Station
Elevators open to a large wooden desk with chest-high countertops. Two computers and a printer are behind the counter on the desk. A hallway to the left leads away from the area. Tour Stop Number Three: Private Patient Room
The private patient room is painted in green and white. A single patient bed is in the middle of the room. A wooden nightstand sits to the right and a green armchair is to the left. A television, tall wooden closet and sink are on the left wall. The door to the bathroom is on the right wall.

In front are two identical patient rooms, each with a shared bathroom. On each side is the entryway to a patient room. Each side has a bed, window, whiteboard and door for the bathroom.

Tour Stop Number Eight: Inpatient Therapy Gym
The brightly-lit and spacious therapy gym has windows along one wall. Half a car is on the left wall along with a stained glass window. A variety of therapy equipment and treatment tables are spread throughout the space.

Tour Stop Number Nine: Inpatient ADL Suite
The ADL suite features a kitchen with light-colored cabinets, a dual-basin sink, black dishwasher and white refrigerator. To the left is a black cooking range and microwave, a black double oven and a white washing machine.

Tour Stop Number Ten: Café
The café is cream-colored with a light green accent wall. A wall of windows with wood accents sits off to the left. There are seven tables, each with two chairs. A clock and a sign that says “Welcome” are on the far wall. The food service area consists of a long counter with wooden accents and a drink cooler.

Tour Stop Number Eleven: Activity Room
The room is painted blue with off-white floor tiles. A large flat screen television is against the far wall with large windows on the left and right. A white table with six black chairs is positioned in front of the television. Two computer stations are set against the right wall.

Tour Stop Number Twelve: Therapy Pool
The therapy pool room is white, brightly lit with blue flooring. There is a therapy pool with steps and a handrail. Safety equipment is located on the walls. A door surrounded by large windows leads into the outpatient therapy gym off to the left. A small locker room sits off to one side of the pool.

The lobby is white with light tan wood-grain flooring. To the left are two black chairs. In the center of the room is a multicolored reception desk with a white countertop. Half the counter is chest high, the other half is waist high. On the left of the counter is a potted plant. A hallway leads out of the area to the left.

The room is white with blue accents and a grey floor. In the center of the room are several large treatment tables. Off to the right are windows that look into an office area. Around the perimeter of the room are a variety of storage shelves with of mats and therapy equipment.
